About

Welcome to our camp retreat, a perfect getaway for a stunning glamping experience, we're open all year round, allowing you, friends and family to get back to nature at FY in all the elements. We have The Wrens' Nest, our one-off, magical, handmade self-catering hazel dome, for up to 6 guests, dogs welcome. We also have a charmingly cute triangle timber cabin called The Little Hut for two and during the summer months we also pop-up with six beautiful bell tents each fully furnished for up to 4 guests and also The Firs, a 6 bedroom luxury Farm House. So whether you're looking for exclusive hire of the whole meadow or simply for a wonderful individual stay, we have something for everyone or any event as...we're also perhaps the only private meadow that has the coolest warehouse space in the East for festival weddings, parties, and awayday presentations along with a yoga yurt and studio space and did we mention we have a double decker bus! This place is super cool, super friendly so if you'd like to become part of the family we'd love to welcome you. There are 2 main roles: 1 • General housekeeping and cleaning of site facilities and guest experience • Preparing and maintaining accommodations before and after guest stays. • Welcoming guests upon arrival and supporting guests where needed from check-in to check out. 2 • General Site Maintenance • Strimming around tents, structures, and outdoor areas as required. • Watering and caring for plant containers and maintaining the areas around the site where the guests occupy. Toilet block/fire pit/concrete pad and bar. • Assisting with small maintenance and seasonal site care. With some heavy lifting of gas bottles and large gardening equipment and also large loads of firewood.

Accommodation

Private Room & Shared Bathroom
Staying in one of our bell tents, set away from the main camping meadow. You’re also welcome to bring your own campervan. Based in our lower meadow area, near the entrance to the site. You’ll have access to a shared hot shower, private toilet facilities, and a small kitchen space for preparing meals. WiFi is available in the warehouse. There is also limited storage space available for your belongings during your stay. This is an eco nature-based, outdoor living environment, so it is simple and shared in nature. During exclusive events or private hires, access to certain areas may be limited or adjusted. This is a normal part of how the site operates, and we always communicate these times clearly in advance so everyone can plan accordingly. There is no bedding or towels provided.

Local area

Norwich - has just been named the UK's best place to live in 2026 by the Sunday Times. Its medieval castle, 900-year-old market and cobbled streets helped it stand out from its competitors, but for the people who call it home, there is much more to it and it is our nearest city - 30 mins bus ride away It has: The Forum - the UK’s most used library, including art exhibitions. The Undercover Market - winner of the 2019 Great British Market awards, a vibrant mix of food, crafts and fashion - The city was described as a "creative, contemporary city, with a small-town feel"! We are in between to towns: Dereham - closest town: Local market town, has lots of handy amenities, banks and supermarkets, post office and holds a market every Tuesday and Friday Swaffham: A lovely town with a great market every Saturday, including an auction. The North Norfolk Coast - An incredible Coast line for swimming and walking The Broads - just 30 mins from Norwich, you can spend a day on a boat.

The map shows the approximate area. The exact location is shared once a stay is confirmed.
