About
We're looking for a small team of volunteers to join us on our barn restoration in the beautiful West Wales countryside.

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn one of the UK's most exciting natural buiding materials.
What is hempcrete? A super cool, eco, insulative material made with hemp and lime. The hemp plant stores more carbon dioxide during its growing than is produced throughout it's processing and construction and creates a breathable, comfortable and renewable source of insulation.
No skill needeed, just enthusiasm and a willingness!
It will be very hands on, mixing up big batches and pressing it into forms on the walls.
There is always a lot going on on the farm so there's always an opportunity to muck in with other tasks if you wish, walking our lovely dogs, feeding the chickens, collecting eggs and helping in the garden/kitchen, general jobs.

Private Self-Contained Unit
Bedding and towels provided
You will be either staying in a room within the farmhouse with a shared bathroom or in the wagon with an en suite compost loo and an external shower block and bathroom.
