A unique Georgian Manor renovated to a high standard, set in 25 acres of Wiltshire countryside near Stonehenge & Salisbury. Explore Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset & Somerset as almost equidistant to Bath, Marlborough, Winchester, Southampton & Shaftesbury. The main house has 9 bedrooms upstairs each with their own private bathroom, and a self-contained annex at the back of the house, with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and ensuite bathroom - which is the typical accommodation for volunteers. If the Manor House is rented, the annexe sleeps a maximum of two. Cots and a toddler bed are available. Eclectic, English country decor with generous ground floor living spaces including a large kitchen that centres around the old Aga, a drawing room, a dining room (seating for 5 to 24 people), a sitting room, a library with a private bathroom and shower (for people or dogs!), a laundry room and a basement games room. There are extensive private gardens including a lovely walled "secret garden" next to the house with a large lawn area for sunbathing, reading and relaxing. A 1.5km woodland path, the "Groggie Way", has been created behind the house and is suitable for walking, wheelchairs, bicycles, etc. It passes the newly resurfaced tennis court, which can be used for tennis, pickleball (nets and racquets provided) or for children to ride bikes and scooters. There are large gardens around the house, and the front of the house has a large flat lawn which can be used for lawn games.

Accommodation

Private Self-Contained Unit
The Annexe is a newly renovated apartment within Henge Estate in the Wiltshire countryside, 6 mins drive from Stonehenge & 23 mins drive from Salisbury. It has 1 bedroom, an en-suite, a sitting room and a kitchen. An ideal base for exploring Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset & Somerset as almost equidistant to Bath & Marlborough (north), Winchester (east), Southampton (south) & Shaftesbury (west). Many attractions 5-45 min drive away. The Annexe has been renovated to a high standard. It is a cosy space with everything you need in a base to explore the area. The Annexe is attached to the back of a Manor House but has a private driveway and entrance and ample parking directly outside. We are yet to complete the landscaping of the carpark and entrance, therefore the entrance is not as grand we would like it to be yet but there is an outdoor table with two chairs in the sunny part of the bank opposite the front door! While we don't live on site, someone is also around.
