We have two shepherd huts. Both have log burning stoves, two ring hob, fridge, TV, radio, a gas BBQ or camping stove outside under a gazebo. One has an en suite shower, the other has a separate mini shepherd hut with shower and waterless toilet. The site is in a secluded fully enclosed area of the farm set among trees. Our own little Arboretum. There is a log burning hot tub. In a nearby comfortable barn which is used for my Retreats there is space for relaxation, music, reading, a fridge, small oven, electric hob, flushing loo and space outside to sit. Wi Fi can be a little sketchy beyond this space but we have an office situated in one of our barns that can be used. Our site is a great base to explore. Take a train just 3 miles away to London (50 minutes) or to Colchester, Ipswich and East Anglia, we have miles of coastline a short drive away, beautiful Dedham Vale and Constable Country a short drive. There are plenty of nice pubs and a fabulous farm shop nearby, foot paths and woodland nearby or just relax at the farm.

I could do with some help with a variety of things. Seasonal pruning and tidying up our woodland areas, gardening, some small maintenance jobs such as wood staining or painting of animal shelters, outdoor furniture. Creating some raised growing beds, fencing repairs. Help at the start or end of the glamping season setting up or packing away some of our portable offerings. Help with a good Spring or Autumn clean of the stables barn and painting. Help with the daily care of the animals which include horses, goats, sheep and chickens. Chores such as poo picking, filling hay nets, cleaning and filling water troughs. Making something creative that could benefit the animals such as small shelters from materials we have on site or enrichment items like treat stands. Some help with content creation for marketing, photography etc would also be useful.
