We operate a holiday park in the heart of the Peak District, offering a collection of unique holiday pods and luxury lodges set within a stunning countryside location. During the summer season, we carry out a range of routine maintenance and landscaping projects to keep the park looking its best for our guests. One of the best things about volunteering with us is the opportunity to stay on-site in our holiday pods while enjoying the spectacular surroundings. The park is located close to Dove Stone Reservoir, with breathtaking views towards Indian’s Head and access to some fantastic walking routes right on the doorstep. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with painting the exteriors of our pods, as well as general landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks. It’s a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, contribute to a beautiful holiday destination, enjoy the stunning Peak District scenery, and meet like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the general upkeep and improvement of our holiday park during the summer season. The primary tasks will involve painting the exterior of our holiday pods using materials and equipment supplied by us, helping to maintain their appearance and protect them from the elements. In addition, volunteers will support a variety of general landscaping and gardening activities around the park. Typical duties may include weeding, planting, tidying grounds, maintaining pathways, and other outdoor maintenance tasks to help keep the park looking its best for guests. No specialist experience is required, although a practical attitude and willingness to work outdoors are desirable. Full direction, guidance and task allocation will be provided by the Estate Manager, who will oversee the work and ensure volunteers have the support they need throughout their stay.

Accommodation

Private Room & Private Bathroom

Volunteers staying at the Holiday Park will have plenty to enjoy in their free time. The park is ideally located beside Dove Stone Reservoir, one of the most scenic areas on the edge of the Peak District National Park, offering beautiful waterside walks and panoramic views of the surrounding hills. For keen walkers and hikers, there are numerous trails leading to iconic local landmarks such as Indian’s Head, the Trinnacle rock formations, Chew Reservoir and the surrounding Saddleworth Moor, all of which provide spectacular viewpoints and opportunities to explore the countryside. The nearby village of Greenfield and the wider Saddleworth area offer traditional pubs, cafés and local shops, while the location remains within easy reach of Manchester for those looking for a day trip. Overall, the Holiday Park provides an excellent base for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, combining rewarding volunteer work with access to some of the North West's finest walking routes
