Our 1850’s farm house has, since we bought it, gone through a fairly dramatic transformation to allow for modern living. We are now working on the outside space and need your help and inspiration. There is a pond that, in my mind, needs to be turned into a natural swimming / plunge pool. The veggies beds have just been put in, now to plant the fruit trees. If you are a mechanic or classic car enthusiast, I am building a replica AC Cobra and would love some help with that. Or if you have an artistic flair there are some interior walls that need pictures, murals, hey even spray paint graffiti. The annexe is self contained so if you fancy time to yourself, no problem. But most welcome to try your hand at the family barbeque.

Wymondham, a historic market town in the heart of Norfolk, offers a calm and characterful base for a countryside escape. Surrounded by open fields and quiet lanes, yet within easy reach of wider attractions, it’s ideal for home stayers looking to unwind while exploring the region. At its heart is Wymondham Abbey, giving the town a strong sense of heritage and place. One of Wymondham’s greatest strengths is its location. Within around 40 minutes you can reach the tranquil waterways of the Norfolk Broads or the wide, unspoilt coastline, including Holkham Beach. Just 15 minutes away, Norwich offers a vibrant contrast, with the independent shops and cafés of the Norwich Lanes. Wymondham combines peaceful surroundings with easy access to coast, countryside and city, making it an ideal base for a relaxed Norfolk stay.
