Our privately-owned historic estate in Mid-Ulster is set beside the tranquil waters of Lough Beg. It blends heritage, gardens, and rural landscape into a unique working estate that welcomes visitors for guided tours, cultural events, and small-scale hospitality experiences. For volunteers, the best bits are the variety and atmosphere, and being part of the busy multi-generational family. You get hands-on experience in a historic house environment, helping with visitor tours, events, and garden spaces. No two days are the same. The setting itself is a huge bonus: peaceful, beautiful, and rich in local history and wildlife. Volunteering here is also a chance to meet people, learn new skills, and be part of something meaningful that connects culture, community, and place. It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys working with people, loves heritage and the outdoors, and wants to contribute to a welcoming visitor experience in a truly special location.
