Norwich city break with hot tub Key info: * 3-4hrs per day, 2 days off per week * Meals provided * Property maintenance, gardening, cat-sitting and house-sitting * Norfolk, England Accommodation: Volunteer accommodation is a private bedroom; Double bed, wardrobe space, we could put a desk in there as well if needed. Shared bathroom with us, although we have an en-suite so mostly use that.

What we need help with: We have quite a big garden, so in the summer months most of the volunteering assistance will be around that. Our list for 2026 includes pressure washing the patio, repainting fences and decking and there is always weeding, vegetable patch maintenance and planting. We've got some DIY projects on the back-burner, waiting for some extra hands to help us tackle them. We need to erect a new pagoda, replace some tiles on our garage and build some flat pack furniture. Whether it's raining or sunshine, we can always use the help and have a variety of tasks that we'd love to tackle together. What we are looking for: Gardening and DIY skills are appreciated but not essential, as long as you're practically minded then we'd love to welcome you.

Solid week with Sarah and Nick. Helped with revamping their pagoda and filling in some gaps where rain was leaking through. The hot tub after a few hours help was a god send as it was soooo hot! Cycled into Norwich a couple of times as they let us borrow their bikes, easy ride and a great city to explore on a day off, plus the Broads are right on the doorstep if you fancy a quieter afternoon.

We had a great time here, and loved exploring more of the Norfolk broads and Norfolk coastline. Sarah and Nick were great hosts, and we loved looking after their beautiful fluffy cats whilst they were away. Thanks for letting us use your hot tub! We helped with some gardening, fence painting and cat sitting - And helped cut down some overgrown trees in their garden. Great memories made, and would love to come back soon!

Super close to Norfolk broads. 12 min bike ride to Norwich city centre, bus stop 2 mins away that gets you into city centre in 15 mins. Fields and beautiful countryside right behind our house. Car park space on our driveway. So much to do in Norfolk; both in the city and the surrounding area. We can give you a list of recommendations.
