Norfolk Broads homestay

Key info:

• 4-5hrs per day, 2 days off per week
• Breakfast, lunch & dinner included
• Gardening/ Decorating / general property maintenance

Accomodation

Volunteer accommodation is one of our spare rooms. It has a double bed with wardrobe space. The bathroom is shared with us, but we also have an en-suite to use, so the bathroom is mostly only used by you.

What we need help with:

• We've got quite a big front and back garden that always needs weeding, pruning, hedge trimming etc.
• Les is a member of the local woodland trust volunteering committee, allotment committee and some other orgs that we'd love to bring more people along with to volunteer at.
• We have several DIY projects that we need help with; painting some internal doors, wallpaper stripping a room, building a greenhouse etc.

Who we're looking for:

• Positive attitude and willingness to help with daily tasks
• Gardening/ DIY experience would be great
• Practical minded

Your schedule:

Flexible hours, around 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week Free time to explore the local area

Local area

Oulton Broad has a vast array on things to do. It's actually in Suffolk, but so close to the Norfolk broads! There are so many countryside and river walks around us, places to hire boats on the broads, and we’re only a 10 minute drive to the sea. The beaches round here are beautiful and there’s always something going on. There is a bus stop at the end of our road, so you’re very well connected.
