About

I live on site and am supported by a small, trusted team. Our animals are very much part of daily life and include horses and ponies, dogs, cats, and other smallholding animals. The horses are central to the project and are treated as partners rather than tools; their welfare always comes first. Life here is hands-on, seasonal, and grounded. Days involve caring for the animals, tending the land, maintaining the smallholding, and supporting the quiet, steady rhythm that allows both humans and animals to feel safe and settled. This is a calm, reflective place where people come to learn, contribute, and reconnect — with nature, with animals, and with a slower, more meaningful way of living. THIS IS A NON SMOKING SITE A typical day here is centred around caring for animals, working with the land, and supporting people in a calm, respectful way. Daily tasks include feeding and caring for the horses, working with SEND children in the day, working with private clients and also managing the Pantry which is our community cupboard outside the house (Honesty box) and we offer lovely home cooked food for our clients. This is growing week by week and we are offering artisan baking We are a smallholding-based wellbeing and retreat space in rural Lincolnshire, offering equine-assisted experiences, somatic wellbeing work, retreats, seasonal gatherings and countryside accommodation. Alongside this, we also run a small traditional food space focused on homemade seasonal food and slow living. We are looking for support throughout the year across a range of areas including: * General smallholding and land maintenance * Gardening and seasonal growing projects * Animal and horse care support * Retreat and workshop setup * Painting, tidying and practical outdoor tasks * Help with creating peaceful guest spaces and maintaining accommodation areas * Seasonal food preparation and Pantry support during busier periods The environment here is calm, nature-based and community-led. We welcome people who enjoy horses, countryside living, creativity, wellbeing and meaningful slower-paced experiences. In return, guests can experience life on a working farm.
