Our home is a modern four-bedroom farmhouse on our family-run farm in Frodesley, Shropshire, surrounded by lovely countryside. We share the farm with sheep, cattle, goats, donkeys, chickens and ducks, alongside our small touring caravan site, The Shepherds Loft. You’ll have the chance to get involved in everyday farm life, learn new skills and spend plenty of time with the animals. Lambing is a particularly rewarding time to join us, and an extra pair of hands makes a real difference to our family. We’re a friendly household who all like to muck in, and we’ll help you feel part of the team. In your free time, there are beautiful local walks, the Shropshire Hills and historic towns to explore—or simply space to enjoy the peace of the countryside.

We’d love a helping hand with everyday life on our family farm. Our busiest time is lambing in the spring, when we need help feeding the sheep, topping up water in the pens and caring for the ewes and their new arrivals alongside us. Throughout the year, there are goats to feed and get involved with, as well as other daily animal-care jobs. In the summer, we’d also appreciate help in the garden with planting, weeding, watering and keeping things tidy. Tasks vary with the season, but we’ll show you what’s involved. No farming experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, enjoy being outdoors and muck in with us.
