Accommodation:
Our small family-owned old vineyard is in NW Worcestershire, walking distance from the River Severn and beautiful ancient woodland. We have our won small woodland with stream and two shepherd huts in the vineyard with lovely views towards the Clent Hills.
Our two shepherd huts are fitted with a full size double bed, a kitchenette with sink, 2-ring hob and fridge. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and a composting toilet. There is a log burner and we supply bed linen and towels. Outside there is a seating area with fire pit and BBQ.
What we need help with:
We welcome help in the busy summer months from June to early September. This might include:
- mowing the lawns and vineyard
- managing the vigorous vine growth which includes trimming, tucking in and leaf stripping
- preparing the winery for the Autumn harvest
- labelling wine for the shop
What we are looking for:
We're a friendly relaxed family who work hard but then love to chill at the end of the day. Working in the vineyard is lovely but can involve hours outdoors on your feet - on chilly days and hot days. Gardening experience is useful but not essential - we can show you what needs doing. And if you're good with tractors and garden machinery, that's a bonus!
