Accomodation:
Our traditional Welsh long house, Nestled in the tranquil village of Nash in South Wales became a calming oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life, surrounded by nature green living became an important corner stone of what we were creating, throw in 6 Alpacas and it quickly became the setting of a dream when we moved from London to create a unique getaway. Set in a tranquil surrounding against a private woodland with our alpacas keeping watch, when their not busy entertaining guests on an alpaca experience, quickly becoming a labour of love with everything we do having a gentle nod to nature and sustainability.
Just a quick note that we’re a same-sex couple, so we like to be open about that upfront. We want everyone who stays here to feel totally comfortable, and we’re especially proud to offer a warm, safe, and welcoming space for everyone including other same-sex couples.
What we need help with:
Animal Husbandry (feeding, cleaning out, health checks etc) Maintain woodland Grass Cutting planting and general garden maintenance General maintenance Cleaning of holiday lets specific projects in spring/summer include, fence erecting, decking building, path creation
Your schedule:
Flexible hours, around 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week Free time to explore the local area
What we're looking for in volunteers:

2 pet Miniature Schnauzers, 1 Barn cat, who has an important job of keeping all undesirables under control, but loves her fair share of human attention. A menagerie of chickens and ducks 6 mischievous Alpacas
Local area
The town centre has a number of great places to eat and pubs. There is a retail park with a number of high street stores and coffee shops within walking distance. We are on the door stop of The Welsh Coastal Path, near to the RSPB Wetlands and a short drive from National Trust Tredegar House, a 17th-century architectural wonder of Wales with gardens and vast parkland. Our local pub is a free house run by the village charity. The Brecon beacons are only 30 minutes away and the capital of Wales, Cardiff is only a 10 minute train journey away.

Meals
Access to shared Kitchen with all facilities available, pots, pans, oven, air fryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster etc. Cupboard space for their food and an area in the fridge/freezer. We are vegetarian, so any meals we provide would be veggie only.
