Tucked away in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, my tiny cottage sits in the hamlet of Miningsby. It's very rural and rather isolated, so if you're craving some time away from the rat race, this could be just the place for you. In your free time there are lovely countryside walks, bird watching, cycling and possibly horse riding. There are no shops within walking distance, but pretty market towns are just 10 minutes' drive away. The nearest train station is Boston, reached via Grantham or Peterborough. You'll stay in the cottage itself, in the spare room with a double sofa bed. Occasionally, if I have weekend guests, I'll ask you to sleep in the cabin in the garden. All meals are provided and are vegetarian. A few honest points before you apply: internet is limited to unreliable mobile wifi with a very small data allowance, and the 4G signal is weak. If you need to be online for your job, this isn't the right stay for you. As a bonus, I was a specialist English teacher, so if you're learning English I'm happy to help with vocabulary, grammar and written expression. I am familiar with the Cambridge exams in English. I'm looking for help with horse care, grassland management and gardening, plus some domestic and DIY tasks around the cottage. In the garden there's always something to do: clearing, tidying, a bit of pruning, and helping me develop a wildlife friendly space. Hours are flexible. Because the horses need daily care, time off is arranged around that, so please only apply if you're happy to be available to help every day. I'm also hoping to travel a little, so reliable house sitters are very welcome too. When I'm away, there's room for two.
